The University of Iowa SAS Users Group is pleased to announce The 7th Annual SASŪ Summer Training Institute

The Institute provides two days of no-fee SAS training for new or inexperienced University of Iowa affiliated SAS users featuring updated course content on the latest versions of SAS.

SAS is a complete software package, primarily used for research and data management. SAS can perform many operations, but is probably best known for its statistical analysis of research data. The University of Iowa has a campus-wide license; hence SAS is used in many, if not most, research labs on campus. In addition, many research agencies provide their data in SAS-ready formats, including the NCDC, NCHS, and NHANES databases.

Date and Location:

August 18-19, 2015 (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM), Room C201 College of Public Health Building. Seating is limited to 28 applicants. The training is open only to University of Iowa staff and students, with preference given to research staff who have not attended a previous Institute. Participants are selected using a criteria that allows for representation by as many different departments as possible. You must register before July 24, 2015 to be considered for selection. To register, go to the web page: 2015 SAS Summer Institute Registration Survey.
